Episode 6 The Horror of Dracula

Hello! And welcome to the sixth episode of Hammer House of Podcast, where Paul Cornell (Doctor Who, Elementary) and L.M. Myles (Verity!) discuss, in order of UK release, every horror movie made by Hammer Film Productions between 1955 and 1976, from The Quatermass Xperiment to To the Devil… A Daughter.

This episode we’re discussing 1958’s Dracula or, as the Americans call it, The Horror of Dracula, where we marvel at Christopher Lee’s silhouette, and make no comment at all on how utterly dashing Peter Cushing is. For this episode we have a special guest: Marcus Hearn, Hammer’s official historian, joins us and shares his marvellously vast knowledge of this groundbreaking film.

We are on Twitter and Facebook, should you like to be kept up to date with our podcast, and we have a Patreon campaign should you wish to support the podcast.

Lovely stuff again. The Snorkel is going to be a change of pace, what with it not being a horror film. This gives me hope that you’ll cover Cash On Demand. I really want to hear Lis talking about Cushing in that one.
