Episode 1 The Quatermass Xperiment

Hello! And welcome to the first actual proper episode of the brand new podcast Hammer House of Podcast, where Paul Cornell (Doctor Who, Elementary) and L.M. Myles (Verity!) discuss, in order of UK release, every horror movie made by Hammer Film Productions between 1955 and 1976, from The Quatermass Xperiment to To the Devil… A Daughter.

In this episode we’re talking about 1955’s The Quatermass Xperiment (with an X – very important) where there is an entirely reasonable and moderate amount of discussion on early rocketry, and any theorising about Quatermass’s secret German origins is solid and well-founded. (We also apologise in advance to any Brian Donlevy fans.)

Great first episode and delightful first film. Love the enthusiasm. Maybe the synopsis right at the start of the episode for those that dont know the plot would be good?
